I read The Tripods Trilogy as a child & LOVED them. It had been 15 years since I had even thought about these books until one day, eating cherries from the farmer's market I picked up a cherry that was attached to 2 others (ie; a tripod). Immediately I remembered these books, went straight to , ordered them & read them within 2 days!

Very quick and easy reads! I loved them and will from now on save them for my future kids to read!!

Excellent "junior" Science Fiction from one of the old "masters". A bit dated but great story telling. Aimed squarely at young readers.
Kind of classic young adult fiction that I discovered later in life. If you liked the Hunger Games, check out this series...
These are a fun set of books! This was required reading for me when I was in 5th grade, but I still enjoy them as an adult.
I first read the Tripod series in seventh grade. Some of you in the Boy Scouts may remember the comic book adaptation of The Pool of Fire from the Boy's Life Magazine. I'm now a 24 year old adult (Ahem!) and I still love these books. Ever since my book collection was destroyed by a flood three years ago I have been hunting for both this, and the Prince in Waiting series by Mr. Christopher. As usual, .Com comes through for me. I heartily recommend this series, and the Prince in Waiting to all readers of Sci-Fi and Fantasy.
