I inhaled this book. I loooooooooved it from the first page to the last. It's a perfect rom com with a perfect setting (France) and a swoony love interest. Vivia had me in stitches the entire time and her adventures made me a tad jealous, but throw in a sweet sexy Frenchman and it's the kind of book I regret having to put down to do real world things. I'm only sad it came to an end because I could have settled in to hang out a lot longer with these characters. Really fun book.

I thought the story was cute and it was an enjoyable read. I found myself rolling my eyes however at the author's overuse of the term "crazy hot monkey sex". It was funny the first time... but got old fast. Not sure if I will read the next book in the series. Might be time to move on but we'll see.
I brought this book along on a vacation to Paris, Switzerland and Germany because long bus rides require quality reading material. I did not know I'd be laughing aloud on the bus, startling those around me. Vivia is an amazing character to fall in love with. You will cheer for her throughout. The book is super steamy, super funny and super fun. I'd compare it to Stephanie Plum, but it's better because the character is far more complex. Can't wait to read the next in the series.
Started this book with a half hearted attitude of, "oh well, it's 99 cents, so why not try it" frame of mind...

Low & Behold, I couldn't help myself, I thoroughly "got It", laughed out loud, Loved it!

Recommend this easy read! Full of just about every hormonal emotion with quick wit & (I wish I could be, too) hilariously dramatic flair!
This is amazingly refreshing , funny and brilliant.
I have copied a paragraph that pretty much sums it up for me
"I am Vivia Perpetua Grant, unemployed, jilted, cranky, covered-in-dust Vivia. I have a tattoo of a sushi roll on my ass and stubble burn from having crazy-hot monkey sex. I hate olives and I hate cycling, but I am riding eighteen miles to eat a Tuscan olive and impress a French man."
Love love love this book!
When Vivia's fiancee left her broken hearted two days before their wedding, she decides to take the honeymoon. Vivia and her friend Fanny travel throughout Europe enjoying the scenery from the view of a bike. Posting pictures on Twitter with the ring as a focal point garners her many new followers. It's a hilarious romp. The honeymoon becomes a laugh out loud comedy.
I love the series and cannot wait the third book coming soon in June.
Hilarious, maybe over the top sometimes, but so enjoyable to read. After the not very likeable groom cancel the wedding (and the job), going on the honeymoon with BFF (a marvelous tour in France and Italy on a bicycle with plenty of great food and wine) was the most funny and delicious idea written. Add a love story! And quite some characters she meets.
The author LM Brown herself has quite interesting articles on her blog too. The books have not been written under imagination only.
If you want to evade from reel news, a great way to escape.
I am usually a non-fiction -or- deep, dark, psycho-thriller fan, but I needed something light, easy, FUNNY, and with highly developed characters to hold my attention at this time since I am in the middle of move (not a lot of time and even less attention span). Anyhow, you will NOT put this book down when you begin to read it. The characters are developed vividly, which is very important to me when I choose a book. I read this in one night without stopping and I must say that it was just what I needed in terms of comedy (SO FUNNY), duration (not terribly long), storyline (incredibly developed), and how it is the first part of a series of three books, so I know I am getting more! Can't wait for the next two books to be released.
