Had to give it three stars, mostly for Lily' s killing of the Taker so freaking easy. All that build up to the final war and it was not dramatic and over in three seconds! I mean really, I know Lily is special but " Chesser, come out of there I know your in there!" Is not enough to kill a super powerful being that's existed for centuries. I was let down by that a little bit. The book was good, besides the stupid ending to the war. It was an interesting series I did enjoy it but it was not perfect there were good and bad things about it. the redundancy of the constant kidnapping and saving and the let down of the two easily won war. I loved the family that they built that stayed strong. I loved that Sherry and Merrick had a baby! Hope was awesome. I loved there love, when they were not constantly screwing at inappropriate times. I mean some sex would be ok but at times it was a little much. I wish Jeff and Marrissa' s baby would have had a name instead of just " the baby" Love Rylee and Miguel, loved all the couple's. I'm so sad about Mrs. Trudy!!!!! So sad! She was one of my faves! I do wonder what was the "special" purposes of the other Special's. To have supernatural fighting powers? I feel like only Daniel, ( not even a special) Lily and Mrs. Trudy, served "special" purposes. Good series, took me a while to trudge through it but worth it. Interesting, entertaining, a good combination of popular book themes. Dystopian, supernatural, ever lasting love. Good Job Shelly! Not a perfect series but, I'm willing to check out some of her other work!

Another series by Ms. Crane that I hated to see end. The Collide series was the first series that I started to read by Ms. Crane (before I found Significance) and I was sad to find out that this was the last book in the series.

Ms. Crane has a way of bringing her characters to life, they jump off the page and the reader actually feels as though that they know them personally, you can not help but become engrossed in their lives (at least a real avid reader). Someone who reads all the time, know the difference between just liking a character and actually feeling like they know them and Ms. Crane has a way with writing that makes the characters feel like your friends. You get mad at the enemy for messing with your friends!!!!

Again I laughed and I cried while reading this book. I hurt when I had to say good bye to my "friends".

Although there was heart ache and pain, I was glad that there was still a happy ending. I could have reached into the book and hugged Sherry I was so happy for her.

I have one more series to read by Ms. Crane, and I hope she starts on another one while I am reading her other series, I can't seem to get enough of her....
This is the final book in the series and had lot of twist that I was not expected at all. Each person in the story grew and we got to see this growth expand. Sherry and Merrick and Lily such a loving family. The surprise for Sherry and Merrick had me crying and laughing at the end. Jeff and Merissa were really great together as they came together as a couple and their baby at the end beautiful. Danny and Celeste are great and auntie and uncle. Danny grew up so much in the last book. Cain and Lillian I was so happy he got back to her when he did. I laughed so hard when Daniel took him to the vet to get his arm taken care of. Miguel and Rylee are a couple that you find in a lot of groups They like each other then again they don't and it works great for them. Ryan and Ellie as so cute and I can see them with kids in the future. The Keepers that went home I had a feeling they would be the one who did. Piper turned against for brothers and sisters this got her what she has coming.
Shelly just has this way of telling a story that can ever open up someone who has closed their heart to love and happiness. She shows in her writing that love and happiness comes in many forms and its good to always remember this.
First let me say sorry it took me so long today to get our post together, moving sucks major sometimes! Shelly Crane, what can I say that would truly capture the way I feel about Revolution? I haven't reviewed the rest of the Collide Series and I'm thinking I may have to remedy that because; this series is seriously one of the best series that shows the struggle of life and love.

First and foremost, for those of you have already read the Collide series up until this point, take a major deep breath and know Merrick is very much still with us! I was so worried but knew Shelly wouldn't do that to us, I mean she is a HEA girl! I've read all her other books and I've never been disappointed! So a lot happens in this book, I mean it has to right since it's the end. Is it going to be the end of human life as we know it, or is the Lighters reign finally over?

LOVE! OMG all the love that is instilled in this book is so breathtaking that I'm actually jealous of the relationships these characters have. A band of people who knew absolutely nothing about each other when everything got started formed an incredible family that some don't see in the actually relatives they have. That in its own is truly inspirational and just shows you that family is who make it. Merrick and Shelley, their love is so awe worthy that whenever I'm reading about them I have this ridiculously huge grin on my face, totally and completely love them! Then there is Cain. Fell in love with Cain and was so happy when he got Lillian. Their love is amazing too, as is Danny and Celeste's love. I'm telling you so much love, oh and Jeff and Marissa can't forget them! Then there is the lovely Lily; the sweet, innocent, beautiful girl who is so important on so many levels and helps in more ways than one. Sigh...then there is Daniel, the Lighter who turned sides...I can't really talk about Daniel without giving away what happens, I happened to fall in love with him too and I believe my tears started around him. The most important thing to know about Daniel is he helps save the world from his fellow kinsmen. Calvin comes into play into this book as well and he is a damn good special!

I love alternating POV, to me it makes each character more real by providing depth that we don't see from single POVs. Shelly totally uses this in this book and it's amazing, we even get a POV from Lily at the end. Love that little girl, I can hear her giggle in my mind know. This was an amazing ending to an amazing series, and though I'm sad to see the end is here, I could not be happier or more thrilled at how it ended. Love Love Love Shelly Crane!
